Sayur Asem suka suka

tho many recipes on sayur asem on internet, but i have my own way of cooking.
the ingredients may vary depends on what we like... thts why it is called suka suka... hagshags

Ingredients:
raw peanuts
Terasi/ Shrimp paste
Garlic
red chilli
onions, thinly sliced
melinjo leaves/cabbage
chayote, peeled n diced
beans/green beans, cut short
young jackfruit, diced
tamarind pulps, squeeze.
brown sugar
salt

but I dun use chicken or beef stock coz i think better use more shrimp paste alone for the special flavour. more shrimp paste, chilli, galangal, and salam, the more spicy it tastes.

how i cook it :
all vegetables n peanuts goes in to sauce pan. boil. Garlics mashed with shrimp paste and chilli, turn it to another paste, and saute with 3 spoons of cooking oil. after it smells good, thn remove it, n put into the sauce pan.
boil it with the rest of the veggies, then add the tamarind pulps, brown sugar, salt, and slices of onions, galangal, and salam leaves/bay leaves.
dont forget to remove the bay leaves, galangal and tamarind before serving.
